Great local public course.
Staff is friendly, course is challenging but fun, pace of play is above average, value for the money. Sad they’re closing in fall 2025. Play them before they do!
great job keeping up with drought conditions
played wetlands during a period of drought. the course did a great job of keeping the greens in great shape and the fairways green. it made for an enjoyable round. I was not expecting this with how dry the area has been.
RUDE!
Most unfriendly staff at a golf course ever! Extremely patronizing and rude. The course itself is actually pretty nice but I would never go back a play again solely due to the staff.
Slow pace
Course was in pretty decent shape the pace was turtles slow a 5 hour an 15 minute round I think they should book tee times every 12 to 15 minutes
Fun Course
We were trying to get in 9 holes after 5:30 PM - there was no marshall arouind to keep up pace of play. A rude 4-some took 3 hours to play 9. Since we were 2 groups back we couldn't 'ask' them to show some etiquette - and allow play throughs - we jumped 3 holes and only got in 6 holes
Did they pay their water bill?
The course was as hard as a rock. The greens were fine to putt but wouldn’t hold any approach shots even if you landed short and tried to run it on. Frustrating to hit good shots and be penalized.
ok for money
The course is good for beginners or infrequent players. After a few holes, you can easily get frustrated with the pin placements (sitting in little gulleys) and poorly. maintained greens, so you just keep reminding yourself that it's a great a day and you didn't pay too much money for 18 holes.
