Myrtle Beach Tourism partners with TravelGolf.com

TravelGolf.com Staff Report

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (February 12, 2004) --TravelGolf.com, the highest-read chain of online travel and golf publications announced today that it has entered into a private label packaging agreement with Myrtle Beach golf package experts, MB Tourism, located at mbtourism.com.

"This is the power of publishing and packaging," says TravelGolf.com President Robert Lewis. "TravelGolf.com garners great readership by focusing on regional and destination golf news, and MyrtlebeachGolf.com is the number one read site in Myrtle Beach. This strategic alliance will drive a lot of business to Myrtle Beach Tourism."

TravelGolf.com will back the private label company with a $300,000 marketing campaign that will also include cooperative marketing contracts for 15 select Myrtle Beach golf courses. TravelGolf.com is also contracted to handle all web related services that includes web design, search engine marketing as well as data base services.

MB Tourism joins another already successful TravelGolf.com private label partner in the Myrtle Beach area, Carolina Golf Travel as run by Jerry McGraw. Together these companies will form the foundation for the Myrtle Beach Golf Alliance, a marketing association between golf courses, resorts and select golf packagers. TravelGolf.com has nine successful private label golf packaging companies.

"Our new partnership with TravelGolf.com gives us a presence inside of the Internet's top chain of updated regional golf publications," says Kay Harris. "By aligning ourselves with such a successful publishing network, we are opening ourselves up to a whole new world of potential business."

Added Harris,” the association will help MB Tourism target golfers all over the US and Canada as well as International.”

MyrtlebeachGolf.com is one of the Internet's oldest and most highly read regional golf publications. MyrtlebeachGolf.com and GolfCarolina.com are just two of the 35 regional golf and travel publications under the umbrella of TravelGolf.com.
