Greens Are A Mess
Great track, great variety ... what happened to the greens? They looked and played as if they were dead. No mention and no rate reduction before paying full price fees. Call ahead and ask before playing. If the issues have been resolved, you’ll enjoy it.
Solid
Love the fast course conditions. Good setup. The only bad part was that I chipped my wedge on some rocks in the bunkers. A lot of the bunkers have rocks in them. Kind of weird and beware for your club’s sake.
Very challenging course
Course is very challenging and entertaining. Highly recommended if you can get in. Only complaint I had were the bunkers were abysmal...hard dried mud and I was in 15+. Nearly impossible to get out of.
Superb course for the value
This course was superb considering the season and most grass was dormant. Fairways were still good. Greens were very very good; fast and true.
love this course
very lush rough, fairways were great, greens were a little slow but true. love the layout
Great experience
The staff was second to none and the course was in great shape for being in the middle of August. Overall it was a great experience at Harbor Lakes Golf Club I highly recommend it for any golfer.
Amazing Course
Looking for an amazing course. Well this one is it! Great course layout, friendly staff and amazing customers.
Links Style But Not Really
A typical links style has no trees, flat, little water, and lots of bunkers. This course is almost the opposite. It has a tributary running around most of course (waterway), houses are on some holes, and elevation changes. Wind is a factor. Nice views of Granbury and farmland. My only gripe would be greens are seemingly inconsistent hole to hole and for a links style course, below average drainage. Overall, a solid course to play.
Harder than it looks
The greens were replaced with bent grass after being killed by this last harsh winter freeze. The greens are finally in pretty good shape. The overall condition of the course is good, even with the 100+ temperatures they are experiancing.
