I'd rather have you go to San Diego. Please don't come to Wisconsin. And take Lance with you.

Chris Baldwin??
Who in the world is this English major?
Has he won any Pulitzers? Has he won a spelling bee? Why would anyone wish to read anything written by a no-name never was who writes some backshelf column anyway? I was on the Senior Tour (before the stupid name change) as a caddie for close to fifteen years.
Your attack, and thats what it is, an attack is pretty mean spirited. For pity sake did one of these old guys steal your girlfriend? Why the hate?
There is plenty of great golf played by these truck drivers,(in my day it was elitist snobs like Dow Finsterwald who called them "Taxi Drivers" and lobbied for a small circle of pals to keep the money to themselves.Good golf is good golf much like bad writing is bad writing. The PGA is guilty of bad taste in the choice of names but you are just as guilty with your mysterious attack.
But maybe you are right. Maybe golf should be more like other sports and
just limit the people who can play according to age. Do we really need old people anyway? Listen up Sparky, there are one or two people now approaching retirement age who love golf and will continue to be fans of the players as they age. With about a zillion boomers on the course in ten years will anyone give a *^&$ what you think? MMM..nope.

Your comments on the recent "Sr. Open" were the "Cheapest" shot I have seen in a long time. To denigrate Bart Bryant for taking his friends out to the dinner of their choice shows a snobbishness that is totally uncalled for. And to relegate the individuals who play on the Sr. Tour as "Geezers" is not only insensitive but stupid. What do you call Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Raymond Floyd, to name a few. All of them have won US Opens as well as other majors. Do you have a problem with people getting old? Would you rather they die when they can no longer compete on the regular tour.
Did you walk the course with the "Geezers"? Are you able after your rigourous day of pounding your computor keys thinking up insults for these guys who can probalbly spot you a stroke a hole and still clean your clock.
To sum up, YOU MAKE ME WANT TO THROW UP!
