| Donald Trump golf course near Aberdeen |

I spent a lot of my working life in Aberdeen working with the oil industry and have special links with Aberdeen. I completely disagree that a person from the US should be able to buy the land there to build a golf course..there are enough of them in the uk to support all the enthusiasts. What happened to the local man who refused to sell his bit of land and property to Trump. Was he just walked over like the Americans like to do?? This should never have been allowed. There are many countries where land cannot be sold to other countries citizens and we should have the same policy. What has happened to the local planning authority??Have they accepted his proposals??The local people will definitely will not benifit as he claims ..just look what happened with the oil industry ...profits going back to other countries and at the same time the local cost of living rising to a level the local people cannot afford. I really feel that the Uk has gone too far in allowing rthis economic takeover...It is about time we stood up to this sort of economic bullying and kept people in there place...Certainly not being allowed to takeover some of the most unique countryside in the uk just to make more money for the US. Apart from that the dunes have been mentioned with respect to being eroded away ...Of course a golf course would improve them???? What a joke. They have been there for hundreds of years and will be there when Trump has gone for the rest of time. I am sure nature knows best. We dont need some sort of 'Trumped' up expert from the US to tell us that. Just hope that this does not get through our planning system.

Trump isn't going to start ruling the local stomping ground. His mother is from Scotland, he loves golf and he's going to create a fantastic course for everyone to enjoy. What a great thing for this part of the country. Remember, is only a golf course not a mind field of brick, mortar and flashy lights.

"My goal is to build the best (fill in The Donald's spec project here) in (fill in skeptical country here), maybe even the world." Good old Trump. Always on message.
Does anyone buy this #$#@ anymore?
