I agree with your Myrtle Beach choices, although I would include a few additional layouts including Grande Dunes, the Barefoot courses, Prestwick and True Blue. As for the Hilton Head courses, most of these are not even on Hilton Head Island, and the others are extremely private. You didn't mention any of the public access courses including the Palmetto Dunes courses or the Sea Pines courses. How can you write an article about scenic courses in Hilton Head without mentioning Harbour Town? Most courses in Myrtle Beach are considered "public/resort", so I think it would be fair to mention the Hilton Head courses that have public access.

actually it's been stretched to 7403 yards from its former 7113. #14 plays at 600 yards and usually into the wind.....
