played course in early 1990's was totally in awe. Condition, layout, fairways, greens worth twice the money,Hell three times the money, just wish the course was 1000 miles closer to where I live. Would play it all the time

Coming from a Canadian hockey player who knows all about COLD, ... that's exactly the feeling you'll have if you don't bring your "A" game to River Island.
Mike Murray does a great job with this place and you'll get more than your fair share of scenic, intimidating and definitely challenging holes at River Island...
well worth every minute of the drive out...

On of the best. Make sure you check out landing areas before hitting shots. Sometimes what you see is not what you get. Lots of high rough in summer. Worth the drive.
