| New pro at Point Venture |

I enjoyed your article about the Point Venture golf course. I play it several times a week and never get tired of it. It is a test. Dennis retired Dec. 1st 2007 and Justin Orbin is the new pro. Justin is an accreditled instructor and the club atmosphere is always friendly.

The new management at Point Venture is great. The golf course is in outstanding condition. The value is the best in the Austin area and the greens are incredible. Finally, the terrain is as good as you will find in Texas - Lake Travis and the Hill Country - what a combination - AWESOME!

The course is beautiful and well kept. Saturday morning (9/1/07) pro shop attendant (old gent) is surly and obnoxious - not at all like the friendly folks at other Lago Vista courses. An otherwise great outing, ruined by this one jerk. If you care how you are treated, don't go here.
