If you're truly interested in saving a few bucks and want to stay within minutes of the Falls themselves, check out a popular hotel district right in the city located on Lundy's Lane. Lot's of options available and the further out toward the edge of the city you go on Lunday's Lane the better the rate. I'm sort of surprised that this area wasn't mentioned in the article itself.
