Alan B. Nichols is a veteran golf-travel journalist with over 25 years of professional writing experience.
In addition to newspaper reporting for an urban daily, he was a senior editor and writer in the environmental field before focusing his energies on golf and travel subjects.
Nichols has covered prominent resorts in the West, throughout the South and courses abroad, including the 'Birthplace of Golf' -- Scotland's St. Andrews Old Course. A low handicap player, he is also an occasional amateur tournament participant.
