Chris Baldwin - Contributor

Chris Baldwin won six national Associated Press Sports Editors awards in six years at the Asbury Park Press, including two for column writing. Later at Metro (New York), Baldwin started a sports media column from scratch. He's covered four World Series, two NBA Finals, two Stanley Cup Finals, two U.S. Opens and plenty of other golf.

A native of Utica, Mich., Baldwin credits renowned high school journalism advisor and Michigan Journalism Hall of Famer Gloria Olman with teaching him early to always write the truth, fearlessly. It's a lesson he's held onto, as he covered Michigan State football and men's basketball for the Lansing State Journal while still in college, as he worked his way into the New York market, as he set out to examine West Coast golf.
