Doug Carey is the publications director for TravelGolf.com, where he manages content and implements new features such as the "Daily Blog" and the WorldGolf Wire daily newsletter. He also writes and maintains the network's two weekly newsletters and selects the daily rave of the day at both TravelGolf.com and WorldGolf.com.
He joined TravelGolf.com in April 1999 after working in print journalism for numerous publications, including The Daily Californian, the Vallejo Times-Herald, San Diego Magazine and Avid Publications, where he was managing editor of Video Toaster User magazine. Carey holds a BA in mass communication and journalism from California State University, Fresno. His hobbies include reading, traveling and fantasy baseball. A native of San Diego, Carey now resides in Fresno with his wife, Christine, son, Peyton, and daughter, Meghan.
