Pete Dye's Pound Ridge Golf Club fills high-end niche for public play in Westchester County
It only took 10 years and 20 tons of dynamite to bring Pete Dye's course at Pound Ridge Golf Club to fruition. Rocks and ravines accentuate the rugged topography of the 7,171-yard track, where trees, wetlands and water hazards are joined by 106 bunkers. Although five tee sets make this public course playable for all, the green fees may limit play to those seeking an elite golfing experience.
