George Fuller, Staff Writer

Editor, writer and photographer George Fuller has been writing about golf and travel for more than 15 years. His projects have taken him throughout the United States, Asia, Polynesia, Europe and Mexico.

Most recently, Fuller was community editor of the Half Moon Bay Review, a weekly community newspaper. Previously, he was editor and general manager of the website GolfREVIEW.com. From 1996 to 1998 Fuller was editor and publisher of ASIA-PACIFIC GOLF and Great Outdoor Adventures of Hawaii. From 1992 to 1996 he was editor of LINKS-The Best of Golf (300,000 circulation magazine), based in Hilton Head, SC. From 1988 to 1992 Fuller was the lead editor and associate publisher for Hemmeter Publications, based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Fuller has written for many newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times Magazine, TIME, San Francisco Chronicle, Palm Springs Life, San Francisco Focus, GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest, LINKS, Successful Meetings, Honolulu and many others. He has reported from Hawaii for Reuters, United Press International (UPI), written for Copley News Service and is a regular on-line correspondent for several websites.

He also has seven books to his credit, the two most recent being "Discover Hawaii's Best Golf," and "Hawaii: Adventures In Nature" published in October 1999. His eighth book, "California Golf- The Complete Guide," comes out in January 2002 from Avalon Travel Publishing.
