Patrick Jones - Contributor

Patrick Jones was the senior producer for ESPN's "Lower Your Score with Tom Kite" CD-ROM instructional golf training series. He spent six years as a full-time sports writer and was awarded first-place honors for column writing from both the Florida and Texas sports writers associations.

Jones has written columns and features and covered PGA and LPGA events for the GolfWeb, served as editor of NBC Sports' golf.com and is a regular contributor to Triangle Golf Today and Triad Golf Today. A member of The Golf Writers Association of America and the Carolinas Golf Reporters Association, Jones earned a journalism degree from Georgia Southern University and a master's degree in communications from Georgia State University.

His golf highlight was to connect on his one swing with Kite's Hogan 7-iron - "I swear I don't know who handed me his club" - while Kite and sports psychologist Bob Rotella looked on. Rotella told the '92 U.S. Open champion that I "pured it," Jones says.
