Brent Kelley, Associate Editor
Brent Kelley is an Associate Editor with TravelGolf.com, where he writes, edits and coordinates content for three Web sites covering Texas, the Gulf Coast Region (Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and West Florida) and Florida.
Before joining the online world, Kelley spent 15 years in print journalist as a newspaper editor and golf columnist. Kelley was Sunday Sports Editor at the San Antonio Express-News when that paper's Sports section was, for the first time, named one of the 10 best in the U.S. in its circulation category by the Associated Press. Kelley has been recognized by the Associated Press for headline writing, page design and special section editing.
In 2002, seeking a new direction and, more importantly, more opportunities to play golf, Kelley turned to freelance writing and editing. In addition to his duties with TravelGolf.com, Kelley serves as editor of About.com Golf and writes for regional golf publications across the U.S.
