Jason Scott, Senior Writer
Jason Scott joined Travel Golf Media's staff in the summer of 1999. Since then, he has reviewed more than 200 courses, including some of the nation's best, in numerous states and four countries. Deegan, a journalism graduate from Eastern Michigan University, brings a wealth of sportswriting experience to the staff and is well-connected in the golf-crazed state of Michigan. After five years writing sports for the daily newspaper, the Ann Arbor News, he joined Student Sports Inc. in 2000 before returning to the newspaper business with the Livingston Community News, a weekly edition of the Ann Arbor News in May 2003. In his spare time, he is a freelance writer for various publications, many golf-related, including TravelGolf.com. He also produces the annual golf guide for Crain's Detroit Business, a well-respected trade magazine in Michigan.
