Tommy Snell - Staff Writer

Tommy Snell is a freelance golf writer featured in The Sunherald on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His weekly column In the Bag features commentary on instruction, travel and equipment with perspectives on local and national golf events.

An avid golfer, Snell currently is the president of the Mississippi Golf Association, a member of the USGA Junior Championship Committee, golf coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and a member of the Golf Writer's Association of America.

Snell's duties as rules official in The Junior Championship, The U.S. Women's Open and the Men's NCAA D-I Championships help him provide intersecting snippets in his weekly Rule of the Week section.
