greens
top price and no grass on greens therefore not worth playing
Challenging and professional course
The service and maintenance that of a 5-star course with the price of a 3-4. Definitely recommended!
bert
nice middle of the road course for January at a reasonable price
course is a bit "tight" so when the starter tells you to shoot at 150 sticks believe him
not a course for the grip it and rip it golfer unless you brought a dozen balls
The best value for money ratio around Kissimmee
It was actually our first golf course in Florida. We found the first few holes quite challenging, but really enjoyed it. Definitely the best value for money ratio we found around Kissimee during the week we spent there in January 2014. We will be back.
Challenging Course
Fairways were good, but some of the greens were in bad shape. Do like this course.
this course has some difficult holes
I think this course is awesome, I really enjoyed playing it. I have a 12 handicap and shot a 94 and was very happy with that. I look forward to playing on your course again.
One of my favorite
This course has become one of my favorite in the mid Florida area. Very scenic and rural setting. Course conditions are good and prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to get back and play again. Only issue we had is it was a little slow playing. Wasn't a big issue as the day was beautiful and the weather was great.
Bad greens
The price was cheap but the greens were the worst in central Florida . I played across the street and they had fine greens. The course was pretty and challenging but the green were not even playable might as well make them sand greens like in Texas that would be improvement.
Greens are always the issue here and that front nine....
is probably one of the most challenging nines you can play, but it is worth the wait with that back nine. Greens continue to be not good and not even close to what is out there compared to other courses, but as long as you know that going in you will be fine. Slow play is always an issue as it does get alot of play, and front nine is going to be slow with lost balls.
Shocking maintenance
Uncut tees with grass up to 3 inches long on some, full of sand too. Fairways OK but greens shocking. Full of sand, some were like putting on AstroTurf & others like patchwork quilts with turf repairs all over them. Bunkers were terrible too with far too much soft beach like sand, could not get out of them & I pride myself on my bunker play. Good job we got 60% of gren fees on golf now or we would have been even more dissatisfied!! I've played golf all over Europe & this is by far the worse course I've visited. Give this one a wide birth & pay the extra for a quality Florida course
Awesome Day!
Great course even though the course was challenging I managed a fair score, greens were awesome the fairways nice and green. I Had an awesome day.
Challenging course that you must shoot straight.
This is our fourth time to play this course. It is challenging and keeps you honest. There are no short cuts. Bunkers and water come into play just enough to make you think about your shot and approach to the green. Not for beginners. 20 handicap can play this course. Very scenic.
More challenging than Orlando ''resort'' courses
Whilst this course is not as pristine as the 'resort' courses , it is much more challenging to play . Many holes are tree lined and have swamp areas that eat into fairways . You have to plot your way around ; you cannot simply hit driver as far as possible .
Take lots of balls ; if you hit yours off the fairway you take a risk by walking in the swamp to retrieve it !! . The staff are very friendly from the bag drop , the pro shop and the bar staff.
A 'must play' for the serious golfer.
A testing lovely layout with fab views (not for begineers).
On our day there where no wait times (apart fro the odd lost ball NOT MINE). The course is super greens a bit slow but the layout makes up for this short fall. Short hitter don't play of the GOLDS.
This course needs attention
There were 4 of us, 2 husband ,wife couples. Both women were bitten by the extremely heavy ant hills all over. Otherwise a challenging course. Pretty disappointed.
Difficult but fun
Never a boring hole @ Diamondback. Great course and excellent staff, very friendly. The course is difficult and the 1st is one of the hardest.
Course has been in better shape
For the money should be on every double digit golfer's list. Last 3 holes a good as any in the area
Always a Challenge
Very difficult layout....played from the whites because of the people I was playing with. Need to play from the blues, whites didn't allow me to hit the driver much. Very tight, bring lots of balls. I lost one but the people I played with went through an arsenal. Greens were ok, true but slow. Need to play it a few times to really know where to hit to. Last time I played it was about 10 years ago so that did not help much. :)
Good course - needs investment
The course, specifically the greens, need work on them. The practice green is superb but has been re-turfed. The other greens need doing to bring them up to scratch. The staff are open and honest about this fact and that is why I am not going to slate the venue.
They ARE working on the situation but need financial backing to do it. If they get it the course will return to past glories.
Even in its current state I would still return to play it as it is a great layout and I found something I didn't expect to in Florida - hills! A rolling layout with some REALLY good holes.
Good value for money if you can get a good price from Golf Now. I got a great price!
Well worth the trip
Great Layout, challenging from the tee with undulating greens. If you can come through the front 9 holes without to much damage, then you have a good chance of recovery on the delightful back nine. The views are outstanding.
