Atlanta: Bob Picariello, Golf Professional

John White Golf Center - Atlanta, Georgia

Teaching juniors, seniors, high school and college students is Bob Picariello's passion. He is presently Assistant Director for Golf Programs based at John White Golf Center, which is currently operated by the City of Atlanta's Recreation Bureau. This facility will be a First Tee site in 1999 and beyond.

The First Tee is a joint effort by the PGA, LPGA, USGA, Tiger Woods Foundation and several other organizations to create sites and opportunities for Junior golfers to learn the game in a unified and organized manner.

Picariello has been teaching all levels of golfers for over eight years. He received his teaching certification in 1994 by the United States Golf Teaching Federation (USGTF), and was certified in 1993 by the U.S. Special Olympics to teach physically challenged athletes. Now specializing in junior golf, but an expert in all areas of instruction, Picariello has been at the John White Golf Center for the past three years.
