Wyndham Virginia Crossings Resort & Conference Center

Resort Overview

The Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center is only 12 miles from Richmond, set on 20 acres adorned with gardens, fountains and walkways beneath brick arches. The focal point is the distinctive red-bricked Jefferson building with peaked porticos and huge white pillars, decorated in classic 19th-century styles to denote the area’s rich Civil War history.

The center offers four-diamond accommodations among 183 rooms and lots of activities from swimming, basking in a hot tub or playing volleyball, basketball and horseshoes. The fitness center is well equipped with Life Fitness Cardio machines, gliders, treadmills, weigh machines and free weights.

Nearby is the Crossings Golf Club in Richmond, designed by Joe Less. Once the northern border of the Chickahominy Swamp, The Crossings was a hiding place for outlaws and staging area for Civil War troop movements in the pivotal Richmond, Virginia, area.

If you’re hungry, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or Sunday brunch at The Glen Restaurant, or relax at The Yellow Tavern, named after the Battle of Yellow Tavern on May 11, 1864, fought, in part, on Crossings hotel grounds. The tavern has six flat-screen TVs, pool tables, and Wii Interactive games.

The resort was built for big occasions, so if you want to arrange a conference or a wedding there are event planners on staff.
