Hi
Reed your news letter every week, great to see this letter about golf in Wales, we played Pennard on Saturday as our course was closed all week because the British girls home championship was held there, Southendown golf club is 5 miles from Porthcawl & Pyle & Kenfig and as a member think it is harded and better than all the rest, here is the link to my club http://southerndowngolfclub.co.uk/
if anyone would like to play there when the build up to the Ryder Cup is underway please just email the club and ask for Mr Alan Hughes
Thanks
Lindsay

Quite agree - some fantastic golf to be played in Wales and the prices are less than half those Amercians get charged in South West Ireland!
The beaches of the Gower are some of the best in the world (if not the Climate)
Stay away from the "american sytle" resorts like Celtic Manor - you can play those at home! The old places like those suggested above are a must!
Don't forget the north of Wales too! Royal St David's Golf Club is a classic and the Snowdonia National park is wonderful.
Come one you Yanks!! Get yourself a passport!!
