Junior, that is Dale Earnhardt, Jr., just announced he was leaving the family business to go work for a competitor. NASCAR's numbers are off this year. The PGA seems to resent the Masters and must placate, if not kowtow to, Tiger. Golf's participation numbers are flat. I wonder if there isn't a disconnect between the powers that be, NASCAR and the Frances and the PGA and Tim Finchem, and the majority of fans who are not millionaires. How many majors do we need or want? And if Tiger and the runners-up don't buy-in, who cares? And if they do, does that really make it a major?
