Scottsdale January 31, 2008, 5:11 pm

by Lisa O'
The Manning Mani! Genius! I bet the appointments are booked! and as for the 1K tickets to Lachey/Johnson-also Sold Out! Just like the FBR (Phoenix Open), it's all about the money-it's not different in Scottsdale than it is in any other part of the country-just that it's all more accessible and desirable here-considering we're the only place in the country that isn't freezing our butts off right now! If you don't like it-there are plenty of other places to be!

Phoenix Rental system January 31, 2008, 4:55 pm

by K. Dyson
Hey-
PGA and SuperBowl crowds aside — just try to get a room there this week in Phoenix — I disagree with you on the rental car system. I've used it three times and love it. I needed only to drag my clubs, bags and other stuff from the airport carousel to the curb. From there I had help all the way to my car. The driver helped me get the bags on and off the van (he had obviously swallowed happy pills that morning). A push cart was waiting for me when the van dropped us off, and I was able to take the cart from counter to parking lot to car. Total time, less that 15 minutes max. Sure beats waiting for the shuttle in the rain or snow!
