Minnesota Marshall July 10, 2008, 2:23 pm

by Owen McCarrol
Hoooray for the Marshall.I'ts about time these Marshalls started doing their job.It is no surprise to me that there were Japanese gentlemen in the group. I have frequently come accross these very friendly very exciteable, very photogenic and VERY SLOW golfers. The bad part is that they always seem to be in front of me. Many times I have longed for the sight of a marshall but usually in vain.
You did not mention where exactly you were on the 1st hole when the marshall intervened.Nobody needs to spend more than 4-41/2 hours on a golf course.anything more than that is pure indulgence and just plain selfishness.
So I say hats off to the marshall, let's have more of them and first send them to Minnesota for basic training!
