Golf in Germany June 26, 2008, 11:15 am

by Lutz Braumueller
Hi Brandon,
you obviously did not play the right courses during your visit in Germany. e.g. in Hamburg there are 25 courses and minimum 15 better courses than Treudelberg which you played.
This situation (min 15-20 courses)you find in Germany around every bigger city - mostly beautiful natural and not artificial like many US resorts.
If you would have seen (and evenmore played!) these courses, you would not write "....They're not good enough to cancel your golf trip to Scotland or Portugal"
As a golftouroperator I know nearly 500 courses around the world and of course lot of US courses, most of the popular courses in Scotland and all of them in Portugal. All great golf destinations specially in our European wintertime.
But in our summertime you will find between Scandinavia, Germany and the Alpes much nicer and better courses then you ever expect.
Best regards
Lutz
And: as a player here first has to contact a professional before is allowed to go on a course, you will find swings you like to look at.
