Just finished playing the re-designed Founders Club (former Sea Gull) in Pawleys Island, SC. Nice job of pushing a lot of earth around and dumping much sand around the course. Many waste areas; cart paths kept to minimum by send them through waste bunkers. Heat resistant strain of Bermuda on greens was wonderfully puttable, pretty fast too. Visually nice course, houses well away from fairways, and friendly greetings at bag drop, front desk and grille. Pair Founders with nearby Caledonia, True Blue, Heritage and Pawleys Plantation and you have yourself quite a spring golf trip.
