| Climate of fear builds confidence on course |

I suppose that a long-iron shot with a stiff wind right to left and a well protected green (water lapping at the front left side) is comparatively easy when everything off the course seems so intimidating. In the context of much bigger things, how difficult can the shot be?

| fear, the 4 letter word |

Right on Mark. Thank you for such a great article expressing what so many of us are finding ourselves surrounded with. I am a small business owner in British Columbia, Canada, and believe me, it is a huge elephant that we need to kick out of the room. People need to start believing in today, and taking it one day at a time.
Now if I can just get over my fear of the first hole!

Mark,
Totally agree. Many people unfortunately are in the mode of overreacting to everything. The economy/country overreacted on the way up, and now is doing it on the way down!
WE (everyone!) can't let that happen...stay calm, focused, and keep moving forward...see you on the links! :)

Life is to short. I'm still devoting as much time and money toward palying golf. Still planning our annual (guys) golf trip. Teeing it up as much as I can possibly fit in starting this Saturday.

Hello Mark!
Well said. Great cheer. Time to go driving these balls. Hard and straight.
Thank you!

Hi Mark!
A great comment - shame that I live in Germany, otherwise I'd love to play golf with you on Saturday!
I'll remember your comments when standing on the first tee in our first Tournament of 2009 at my Club on Sunday!
Keep up the good work!
Peter
