I actually did a golf weekend in New Orleans in 2008. We did play Oak Harbor. The greens were still coming back.
TPC Louisiana 2 weeks before the PGA tournament. A very nice course.
We drove to Bay St.Louis to play "The Bridges at Hollywood Casino" about 45-60 minute drive. That was the best of the three. Designed by Arnold Palmer it was in great shape. The staff couldn't be anymore accommodating, to us "Yankees". We got 36 in and loved everyminute of it!
Between Bourbon St, gambling, golf. the trip couldn't get better( as long as you don't mind driving to get to the course) Highly recommend New Orleans!
