This Week at TravelGolf.com: Feb. 10, 2004
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, it seems appropriate to focus on women's golf. Greg Norman isn't a subscriber, so I don't think he'll have any objections.
We're fortunate to have several top female writers on staff, including our featured columnist, Cynthia Boal Janssens. A former travel editor of The Detroit News, Janssens checks in this week with a few timely tips to
save money on your next golf vacation. In recent months, Janssens
has featured everything from gift ideas to personalities such as
Ann Liguori, and her column, "From the Forward Tees," runs regularly at TravelGolf.com.
Before celebrating Valentine's Day with your sweetheart, be sure to
check
out our
usual full roster of reviews and travel features, plus a sampling of
letters we received last week on topics ranging from the FBR
Open
to Chi-Chi Rodriguez. As always, your comments are
welcome on any topic. Have a great week.

StoneWater pulls in top honors, but there are plenty of other awards to
go
around. Genius events (Playboy bunnies at
Thunder Hill) and genius locations (Longaberger) also rate well in this
year-end tradition. Staff writer Jason Stahl takes
you around the state and not only give you the best place to hold a
tournament, but he'll also tell you where you can
break a car window with a golf ball and not get in trouble for it.

TEST1
The former host of the hit TV series "Real TV," John Daly plays a good
game
of golf, but he's no Long John Daly.
He's had some funny experiences at celebrity pro-ams when people expect
the
other John Daly, but he keeps
his sense of humor about it all. Unlike the PGA Tour's John Daly, his
strength is his short game, not the long ball.
