After contributing writer Shane Sharp told us he was headed to New Orleans for a week of golf, we weren't sure how many morning tee times he'd miss. Surprisingly enough, Sharp managed to make his way through the Big Easy without oversleeping a single day. Of course, when you look at the courses he played, it's easy to see where he got the motivation to answer that wake-up call each morning. In this week's Travel Golf Guy column, Sharp recaps his week on the Audubon Golf Trail, a collection of nine dogged golf outposts that span the entirety of the Bayou State. With two new courses, the AGT is well worth a visit. Just be sure to make time for golf (the AGT is spread throughout the state) and great food along the way. While Sharp was on the road, our public relations department was busy last week announcing several key deals, including new partnerships with Hotels.com and WorldRes, plus the acquisition of WisconsinGolf.com. While we continue to grow, be sure to check out our usual full lineup of reviews and travel features. As always, your comments are welcome on any topic. Have a great week.
