Steroids in golf March 17, 2005, 7:41 pm

by James
I don't think steroids would help much in golf because it is not an athletic endevor. Yes the big hitters drive the ball way too far but David Toms is no where near a big hitter and he kicked ass all the way through the recent match play tourney. It's about cheating. Corked bats, illegial drivers, performance enhancing drugs.
It might be going on in golf but I bet it is not very common. The entire human race is littered with scum that don't know right from wrong.

WELL STEVE SAID IT SOOOO GOOD THAT I CAN ONLY REPEAT IT ALL.
I TOO GAVE UP ALL THE OTHER SPORTS FOR THE REASONS STEVE STATED.
GOLF IS THE ONLY THING LEFT---I CAN ONLY HOPE IT STAYES CLEAN.
MY INNER MOST THOUGHTS????
THERE MAY BE A FEW--VERY FEW--WHO ARE NOT WORHTY OF STAYING ON THE PGA TOUR.

Baseball/Golf March 15, 2005, 11:00 am

by Steve
I started watching and playing golf at a late age; about 5 years before Tiger hit it big and the reason is because watching and playing golf is still one of the last pure sports left. I stopped watching football because there is too much "showboating" I stopped watching the NBA because of the "thug" presence. Of the big 4 I still watch NHL but they can't figure out how to run a business. I also believe that if you take the illegal drugs and blatently break the rules that are specifically in place to keep the sport equal to everybody then you should either be kicked out of your sport or removed from the hall of fame of your sport, past and present. My sons are growing up and I feel for them because they will niot have a Hero in the pro sports world. Keep golf pure and keep the drugs out. I would also support a random drug screen for golfers too and make the same kinds of drugs illegal before it become the downfall of our sport. As far as baseball is concerned, the people in question if found guilty desreve to have their records disqualified and removed from the record book. Barry is no Ruth, McGuire is no Marris, Smith is absolutely NO Payton! Let them all go away and live on the streets like other drug users, pay them no attention and they WILL go away!
