MERCEDES CHAMPIONSHIP January 11, 2005, 8:09 pm

by FRED SELTMAN
THE ANNOUNCERS AT THIS EVENT AND ABOUT ALL THE OTHER EVENTS NEED TO GO BACK 25 TO 30 YEARS AND LISTEN TO THE ANNOUNCERS OF THAT ERA. THEY COULD LEARN ALOT---LIKE DON'T BE SO BIASED AND INTERVIEW THE LEADERS NOT THE GUY IN 7TH PLACE. CASE IN POINT, CINK AND WOODS FINISHED PLAYING AND THEY INTERVIEW WOODS NOT CINK. WELL--CINK HAD THE BETTER ROUND AND WAS CLOSE TO THE TOP NOT WOODS. ALSO--I FOR ONE AM TIRED OF BAKER-FINCH AND HIS DUMB STATEMENTS NOT TO MENTION HOW THE ACCENT GETS ON MY NERVES .
THEY ALWAYS FOCUS ON WOODS--GIVE THE GUYS AT THE TOP SOME AIR TIME AND RECOGNITION.
TIME FOR SOME CHANGES.
