LPGA July 27, 2005, 3:52 am

by zulu
If we conside3r the lpga to be inferior to the PGA, we must then consider all events where the "BIG 4(or 5) don't show up as similarly inferior events. And just how many events does Tiger skip as unworthy? I for one watch more lpga then PGA events because there are more top players at each of their events. There is also the very real argument that I can relate to their distances more readily tan any of the big names on the PGA tour. When was the last time the majority of your readers hit a 360 yard drive or a 170 yard 9 iron?

What has the US Open got to do with the LPGA? It is a USGA event.

Tirred of the bantering about the PGA Tour and the LPGA Tour July 26, 2005, 10:05 am

by John Klein, PGA
The two tours are totally different, with talent and ability abundant in both tours. I am tired of seeing the women playing the men's tour! Until they conquer their own tour, the women should play and respect their own organization. If they think their organization is inferior, then build the reputation of their tour and make it superior. Don't jump tours!

Wie are Getting Tired!! July 26, 2005, 9:46 am

When is the golf media world (and Jennifer Mario types) going to stop pounding the Michelle Wie drum and take a few minutes to recognize Paula Creamer. She gets "oh by the way" comments, but Wie gets headlines. Wie doesn't win in the amateur ranks, the LPGA ranks, and rediculously tries to play in teh PGA Tour ranks. Paula Creamer has quitely won LPGA events and over a million bucks as a rookie....WAKE UP...Wie are sick of hearing about Michelle! When she grows up and wins, we'll be glad to.

Its not a BLOG! July 26, 2005, 8:45 am

by Noah Neumann
OK, why is everything a blog now? A golf article (or any web article) is NOT a blog. Blog is short for weblog. The real definition of a blog is a journal or diary that someone keeps on the web. Just a log of their daily activities.
EXAMPLE:
8:00 Woke Up
8:15 Made a cup of tea (it tasted good)
8:30 Turned on my computer
8:45 responded to a TravelGolf.com article
anyway, you go LPGA girls!!
