Thanks, Chris, for your comments on San Diego. Very much appreciated. I was born and raised here, moved to LA in the late 70's, and gladly returned here in the early 90's. It really is a nice place with some fine golf courses among other things (people, attractions, restaurants, beaches & mountains, etc etc etc).

Thank you for your interesting story on the contributions of the golf industry in combating the recent San Diego fires. In light of your story, I for one plan to alter my winter golf vacation plans to include a stay at the Pala Mesa Resort. It is the least one average golfer can do to salute the generosity of the resort and the bravery of its staff. Our golf caps are off to those brave men (and women).
The Fun Bus is back and will be visiting The Highlands and Edinburgh! Aimed at Singles, Couples and Small Groups this is a Tour for Golfers who wish to visit Scotland and experience some of the Superb Links Courses - Royal Dornoch, Fortrose Links, Brora Links, Nairn West and Gullane Links.
