Open letter to Tim (from Sweden),
As always I enjoy your comments and remarks, I assume mostly with an edge to stir up emotions. But isnīt it time to give Wie some slack? Yes she made a mistake, but column after column belttleing her and naming her a cheat is taking it to far. We have got your point by now , so it is enough if you remind us every 3d time...
regards from Sweden

| No competition for Tiger |

There is no doubt that Tiger is among the greats of the game, but there is no one out there to challenge him. In the history of the game, the greats like Hogan,Snead,Nelson,Palmer, and Jack had other great players to challenge them and make them raise their game. No one on the tour today has the game to test Tiger, even as good as phil can play at times, he is no match. Tiger came along at just the right time to be dominant and because of this, he will most likely break Jack's major record.

There are plenty to challnge, and proof is that there are so many first time winners. In the stone age when Sam, Jack, Arnold and the others ruled this was a game where 2 or 3 players of those who teed up could go all the way. ( just like womens pro tennis of today))
TIGER has since long proven that he is the greatest ever in golf, and hopefully he will be around long enough to silent all and everybody by also running them over by the numbers.

Tim MacDonald's reference to Michele Wie and the rule book have nothing to do with Tiger and greatness. He appears weak in character in my opinion casting dispersions on a 16 year old who may be destined for greatness herself. Weak stuff!

I propose that the PGA allow the rest of the pro tournament field play a 2-man best shot against Tiger to even the odds of someone other than Tiger winning.

The notion that any course can be "Tiger-proofed" is laughable...are these people for real? He can play anywhere at anytime and win...that is what great and rare talent does...it finds a way to win...when the courses make it "harder" for him, they make it truly hard for everone else...the whole idea is asinine and inane...
