We're starting early with our new year resolutions, beginning with the new TravelGolf.com reader blogger program. Rather than wait until 2005, however, we're starting now with a renewed focus on reader interaction. Looking to build on the strength of the recently launched TravelGolf.com Blog, we're now accepting applications for reader bloggers. If you're unfamiliar with blogging, it's basically an informal online journal with entries that are usually short and feature a blogger's thoughts on everything from The Golf Channel to the course you played yesterday. There really are no rules (except our lawyers do ask that you watch the language). If you're a golf addict who plays every week or so, we want to hear from you. We're looking for reader bloggers for each of our 20-plus sites, and your blogs will be read by nearly two million readers each month. Unfortunately, reader bloggers won't be paid, but they will be eligible for free rounds of golf, equipment, and more. If you're interested in applying, complete the online form and we'll select a number of bloggers to start immediately. Speaking of reader interaction, an overwhelming number of people agreed with my comments last week on the Skins Game, with most everyone asking for dramatic changes. "I was so bored after watching the first three holes of the Skins Game, I went down to Walgreens and watched them count pills," wrote Farley J. Freeburgh. As always, your comments are welcome on any topic, including the Skins Game and the rest of the Silly Season. Have a great week.

It's
Thanksgiving in DecemberIn this only slightly belated Thanksgiving column, national golf editor Tim McDonald gives thanks for Johnny Miller (the Charles Barkley of golf) and looks forward to the end of long, boring par-5s. From Tiger to the Skins Game, McDonald isn't letting the holiday season get in the way of a few opinions.
